1. To identify the areas and collection of data for quality improvement on a continuous basis.
2. To facilitate and involve all the cross functional team members
3. To verify and validate and sustain the effectiveness of the countermeasures and horizontal deployment
4. QUALITY AUDITS & LOGISTICS QUALITY:
1. Plan and implement process , product and dock audits and ensure timely feedback is given to concerned departments.
5. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT:
1.To participate in NPD activities as CFT member and ensure the progress of the quality related activities as per APQP plan.
2. To participate and furnish the process nonconformance data to the team during the preparation of Process FMEA.
3. To ensure preventive actions are in place when new product is developed, considering the experiences with similar Part.
4. To monitor and provide feedback on the quality of the new parts during the prototype / PPAP run with all relevant inspection data and capability reports to concerned.
7. CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT and TRAINING:
1. To initiate continual improvement activities in all areas.
2. To inculcate the spirit of Kaizens and benefits on a daily basis at grass root level of production shop.
3. To work on reducing variability during processes w.r.t specific Parameters and to constantly improve the capability.
4. To identify potential areas for making Poka yoke methods in the processes to prevent defects.
5. To ensure that all quality/Process personnel are trained in improving the measurement skills and increase their understanding of the manufacturing processes.
6. To train In-process and Quality personnel the usage of tools such as 5S, 7 QC tools, Trouble shooting, Problem solving techniques, IATF- 16949 related documentations, RoHS requirements etc. I was a corporate trainer at Sharda motor, with involvement in all the plants PAN INDIA
8. DATABASE MANAGEMENT & REPORTING:
1. To ensure proper digital collection and recording of data during every processing stage.
2. To prepare reports / graphs for the rejection data for the various Products for display, on a daily basis.
3. To evolve a better database management system to simplify the data inputting activity and to generate various types of reports as required for problem solving / monitoring.
4. To record and highlight the discrepancies in the process and ensure proper corrective actions are in place
5. To prepare and monitor the Supplier’s quality and update them of the status of their performance each quarter.
NOTEWORTHY MILESTONES
Received more than 60 “Suggestion Awards” for increasing the productivity & machine utilization leading to reduction of manufacturing cost.
Successfully introduced & implemented SOP for press shop as required by ISO standards & 5S System at Savera
Significantly engaged in the preparation of all documents as required for ISO 9001 certification without any help from any external agencies for the same within a record time.
Have been meeting quality requirements of the company and have complete ownership to plan, implement, monitor and control quality and QMS at all levels- Receiving Inspection, Stage Inspection, Testing and Final Product Quality resulting in Best Supplier Award by our customer continuously for four years;
Preparing Quality Plans and Work Instructions and their implementation from the start;
Evolved a Supplier Evaluation system and their up-gradation resulting in customer satisfaction;
Customer Complaints’-Analysis and taking effective steps to resolve them and making/suggesting amendments for their non- recurrence.
