Responsibilities: Was responsible as a buyer for GE PLASTIC Burkville Ohio US 

a) To find new suppliers and negotiate on Price Payment and other T & C for various Commodities for GE PLASTICS, GE WATER, GE SILICON, NBC UNIVERSAL .US.

b) To find new savings Projects and reach Target.

c) Download data from various ERP systems identify potential savings projects.

d) Download data in excel format and validate using PIVOT table, Pie Charts, V Look up ETC.

e) Prepare RFQ, RFP and float to various suppliers.

f) Validate RFQ once received from suppliers and suggest the best supplier in terms of price and quality.

Interact with various suppliers, buyers and sourcing team.

g) Prepare PPT presentations to the sourcing team for GE WATER on potential savings projects.

h) Implement various strategies to achieve savings other than negotiating on price and quantity.

i) To understand various commodities and US market trends and strategies before selecting project and negotiating with suppliers.

j) Worked as a buyer for SAB MILLER on analyzing spend data and show them potential savings.

 Achievements:

a) Achieved Success full of $60,000 savings against the target of $ 45,000 in 2006.

b) Achieved Savings of $800,000 against the target of $100,000 for GE Water US. Which includes $400,000 savings in single project. Which was the highest savings ever achieved as a buyer in GENPACT sourcing team of 80.

c) Worked on contract management for NBC Universal 

d) Received best negotiator & best buyer award for the above savings. And other quarterly and cash awards. 

e) Promoted as Process developer on achieving target in 2007

f) Prompted as management Trainee for achieving $ 800,000 in 2009.

g) Hands on experience on ERP systems like SAP, ORACLE, BUSINESS OBJESTS and others.
