Work Experience
TiVo (Feb 2017 – till date):
I’m working in a team called TiVo Metadata which is responsible for getting TV program guide data from data sources,
processing it and finally storing it into a database. This data will be shown on the TiVo set top box in grid format. This data is also
used to provide other services like Search and Recommendation.
SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd (2.5 years, June 2014 – Feb 2017):
1. Social Intelligence (1.5 years, June 2014 – Jan 2016)
I worked in a team called Social Intelligence which is responsible for developing social data harvesting adapters and database
APIs. These adapters get data from third party social data providers and then store the data into database tables using the APIs.
Analytical applications were built on top of it.
2. Industry Cloud Development (Jan 2016 – Feb 2017)
I worked in a team called ICD which works on developing reusable micro services on HCP. I worked on the development of
Currency Rates Resource Micro Service which provides Currency Exchange Rates.
Technologies/Platforms: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Git, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, CI, HCP, HANA, Jenkins.
Intel (Internship, 4 months, January 2014- April 2014)
I worked on the development of ETL(Extract-Transform-Load) tool on cloud. My role in this project was to learn different
concepts in Node.js and develop POCs to help the team in development process.
ISRO (Internship, 3 months, June 2012 – August 2012)
I worked on Online Furniture Indenting Software project which was developed for the intranet of ISAC, ISRO. The project aimed
at developing E-mail module for the application using which the employees were able to send E-mails to colleagues at different
stages of indenting a furniture.

Smart Personal Assistant:

This project aimed at creating an intelligent personal assistant software which has the ability to assist users in more personal
ways, similar to the ways of people. The application features automatic tracking of events from messages, detection of
important messages for the user and a smart way to automatically set alarms.

Providing Location and Age Specific Ads Based On the Concept of Map-Reduce:

I have received many spot awards for quickly developing python scripts for customer demos at SAP.
I was part of the core organizing team for the Design Innovation Workshop conducted by MIT (Massachusetts Institute
of Technology) Media Lab and also INK Talks which was organized during the workshop.
I was the topper of Sorab taluk(Shimoga District) in SSLC Examination 2008 with 94%.
I’ve got Distinction Awards in all the eight semesters in Engineering.
I’ve been a part of the organizing team for Ayana-12, HashCode-12, Ayana-13 which were 24 hour hackathons
conducted by the PES Open Source Community and Student Nokia Developer wings at PESIT.
I was part of a team which won district level Volley Ball competition.
