Green computing or sustainability is not simply the operational energy consumption of computing equipment.
Green computing must take the product life cycle into consideration, from production to operation to
recycling. Thrust of computing was at first on quicker analysis and speedier calculation and determination of
mare advanced issues.

Projects
Sameeksha-A project on rural development & statistical analysis
December 2010 to May 2011
Members:Sujit Agarwal, Anabadya Mukherjee, Rochishnu Dutta
It was a basic effort to tabulate the various districts of west bengal such that the government(central)
can directly communicate to the responsible D.M's,B.D.O's and other grass root level officers about the
distribution of various resources sanctioned by the central office.
In this way, corruption can be ignored and the central government can directly focus and interact with the
heart of india i.e villages.

Influenced by Facebook,a few of us decided to build a social networking website for our minor project.
Its a simple website mainly focused on college students who can share their info, views or comment on any
forums. The website included a small page for creating self groups where members can form their own
groups.
The website included all the basic features which a social networking website should have.
The front end was built using PHP and the database was MySQL.
