With a career spanning several decades, I bring a wealth of experience in software development, project management, and technical authorship. As employee #11 and Lead iOS Developer at Tinder, I played a pivotal role in shaping the world’s leading dating app. My authorship includes bestsellers like “Programming in C,” “Programming in Objective C,” “Unix Shell Programming,” and “ChatGPT Made Easy.”   

I have been focused on AI over the last couple of years and consider myself an expert in prompt engineerng.  My book on ChatGPT is the first book to work with AI in a true collaborative partnership.   So much so that I listed Alex ChatGPT (as I called him) as a coauthor.  

I also developed a customer support, sales, knowledge, and service bot using botpress.   The bot can be easily configured to work with a variety of different businesses, with most of the information provided by a URL pointing to the company’s website, and a policy manual.

To continue my knowledge of AI,  I have recently enrolled in / completed several AI courses, including ones on generative AI, Machine Learning, and Python programming. 

Finally, my years of writing have honed my ability to work remotely and to perfect the necessary communication skills to successfully accomplish my tasks.
