I had worked for a real estate investment company in Birmingham, AL. as an acquisitions officer. I did all the virtual work. inbound calls from sellers, agents, wholesalers and outbound calls to houses for sale. for documents I create and modify the selling and buying contracts, amendments and all associated files for purchase/sale of property. other documents include bid packet creation(a file where all info of the property is compiled i.e CMA, tax info, flood info, specs, MLS info) and also handling some closing document compilation(HUD, title policy, inspections) 

As I went on through with this line of business it demands that I have a grasp of the whole real estate process, not only acquisitions. coz in training we were only given an overview. Because from my viewpoint acquisitions is just step 1 and its a long way to go from there. So I had to research and observe and see how the whole thing works. From acquisitions, closing, leasing, maintenance, accounting. I studied on how these departments work together together with the county/government and others. I kept track of properties from purchase and saw the financial and equitable value rise and fall depending on lots of factors. So in short I got a somewhat clear idea of how the real estate business works.
