2017-Present: Sports Pundit/Consultant
I work as an independent sports pundit, offering analysis and commentaries on all sports, both local and international. Media stations who regularly use my services include KTN, K24, KBC and Ebru TV. I also offer similar services to Radio Jambo and KBC Radio, while also doing livescore commentary for an international company. I additionally offer PR consultancy services to Red Oak Communications.
2011 to Aug 2017: Senior Account Manager – Tell-Em PR
Joined the agency in April 2011 and handled different clients including Brookside Dairy, Kenya Shippers Council, Zuku, Philips, Visa Inc, Weetabix, Coca-Cola, Copa Coca-Cola, Cosafa Cup, Ford Motors, Roboliance, SupaBet, Migaa, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) among others. I was also the digital assistant, taking the lead in churning out digital content for our clients as well as handling daily PR activities. Duties also included developing strategy documents, liaising with the media, developing and editing press materials, organizing and overseeing press events and managing online media.
2015 to Present: Co-Founder/Editor – Fourfourtwomedia
Fourfourtwomedia is a resourceful center for all sports news making headlines in the country and beyond. Through the platform we also strive to offer publicity for sports bodies, clubs and personalities as well as providing media relations, events management, social media presence, and profile building.

Worked as a regular contributor to sports websites Goal.com Kenya and Michezoafrika as well as X-News Newspaper. I write sports and occasionally news articles and commentaries on a regular basis. This includes commentaries on the Kenya Premier League, the top 5 leagues in the world and other grassroots tournaments.
January 2009 to December 2010 – Editorial Manager, A24 Media/Camerapix
I worked as an Editorial Manager at A24 Media… a Pan-African online media agency for video and stills. Besides coordinating the various departments in the organization, I handled all incoming and outgoing editorial content from all over Africa and did scripting on different topics. This job description demanded that I possessed strong leadership, and organizational skills as well as excellent computer skills. I was also responsible for conducting research and providing write-ups for all the content on the photography portal, writing and editing the company’s press materials. I also doubled up as an IT personnel, maintaining the website by uploading new content on a daily basis. This exposure credited me with multitasking abilities and good all-round communication and networking skills with people from across Africa.
March - December 2008 – Business Reporter, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation
Industrial attachment at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). While at the state broadcaster, I specialized in business reporting, handling different stories touching on economic sectors such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the stock market, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, banking and insurance. I was also active in programme presentation and production.

I was the Chief Editor and creative mind behind Eastex, a bi-daily college newsletter at East Africa Institute of Information Studies. I also served as a senior Sub-Editor of 7 Days, a weekly magazine at the same institution, making both pieces the most read within the institution and helping give fellow students a voice to speak out about issues affecting the institution and society in general.
