NJIT 2015 Design Showcase Industrial Design Winner / Odds & Ends / Studio IV
• Conducted research involving humanitarian and sustainable solutions to the
issues of poverty and waste, designed a system for the education of homeless
women involving the reuse of discarded fabric, and hosted a sewing workshop at
the Newark YMCA Shelter to teach women how to use a sewing machine
to make bags and pillows.
