Staralee Rector

Blessings, my name is Staralee, but I prefer to be called just Star thank you. I have taken several different college courses with a medical background, so i have a strong command of medical terminology. This course of study also provided me with various other skills such as a good sense of time management, with a knack for sorting problems in quick and effective manner. With my attention to detail and keen eye for observation, I have been able to effectively complete proofreading and transcription projects in the past. I am always looking to upgrade my skills both personally and professionally. In the past I have been the Administrative assistant of an online academy of thousands of students on Thinkific. I managed the day to day trouble shooting for students with any course or portal issues. I spent a great deal of time proofreading course material before it was posted, I updated course scedules, posted new courses and the material for them. During classes, I moderated the Zoom chats, again, I was there for technical support for students as well as the instructor. I was also able to take some of the weight off the instructor as I was a secondary source of knowledge in the class to answer student questions while the class was being taught, this streamlined the questions at the end of the class to the most relevant only, and therefore capitalizing on the instructors time. I also transcribed some of these courses into text for future use. For a short period of time I assisted with a friends Shopify store by helping to update the inventory, making everything was correlating and correctly priced. At the time I also focused on increasing the SEO stats for the website.
