The study was a qualitative-based research as it gives the opportunity to read, reread, explore, examine and criticize the novel thoroughly. I had tried to analyse the experiences of human beings through the words and phrases of the book. The sample of the study is Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things. The reason for selecting this novel as my project was because this novel intensely deals with main motives and objectives of this study i.e., to examine the women issues and abuse in Indian society. The data was analysed through textual analysis method as it helped me to understand human being’s behaviour, their culture and subcultures as well as their involvement in society.
