Sophie Nkitseng

My name is Sophie Nkitseng and I am 24 years of age and have obtained a Bcom accounting degree at the university of the free state in 2018. I am a proud member of the golden key honor society and an alumni of the International Scholar Laureate program. In 2018 I was honored to have been nominated by the golden key society to attend a delegation in business and entrepreneurship in China, in which I raised funds for through radio stations, local newspapers and business mentors. I hold a certificate in business and entrepreneurship from the red and yellow school of business. I am passionate about solving problems critically and innovatively through technology. I firmly believe in passion and purpose which basically means that every encounter in my life is used to make some form of impact. I was previously working at Oracle Corporation as an ERP consulting intern which gives me substantial knowledge in consulting, cloud, finance, fintech space and client satisfaction. Hard working, ambitious, passionate, purpose driven and determined are just a few adjectives I use to describe myself. In every challenge I encounter, I always ensure there is a lesson to learn. Being exposed to the accounting world and later being appointed in one of the big tech companies in the world has inspired passion and curiosity within the financial technology space.
