Profile
I am a bilingual Canadian, fully qualified and experienced Teacher (French and Special Education Needs, SENCO). İ have
experience in both Canadian and International schools and have taught the American and IB Curricula in
Canada, Turkey, and Tanzania. I am now a substitute teacher at the “École française du Caucase” in Tbilisi
(Georgia). My last position as head of learning support is at an IB curriculum school in Tanzania where I
manage a team of educators.
İ hold a Master degree in Education (SEN) and a Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Education (French)
with DELF accreditation issued by the French Ministry of Education.
İ describe my teaching style in the following way: “Teaching is my life. I have been told that I am a “born
teacher,” but this is not the case. If anything, I was born a learner, and along the way, I learned how to teach.
In fact, my teaching style and techniques are evolving daily as I learn through professional development, by
studying my peers, and most importantly by listening to my students. To me, a large part of teaching is figuring
out how people learn. I am passionate about education because I am a constant learner myself.”
