Job Title: Production Controller Intern
Division: Aerosol Plant
Duties, responsibilities and key performance areas:
Scheduling and resource planning
Assisting Production controller to co – ordinate and schedule the sequence of the products, production phases through the individual work centers.
Liaising with stores on normal and exceptional date/time requirements for deliveries of components
Monitoring of unscheduled work and through discussion with the relevant people and taking action in overcoming short term capacity constraints.
Hygiene and Sanitization
Ensuring that the hygiene and sanitization policies and procedures were being adhered to at all times
Identification of possible contamination and through discussion and consultations with various people and determine whether it would be viable to take action to eliminate the source of contamination.
Ensuring that non – conformances of GMP audits are actioned timeously by the “problem owner” to eliminate the problem/issue and its possible reoccurrence.
Risk:
Ensuring that the safety policies and procedures were being adhered to
Ensuring that all incidents and accidents were reported, investigated, documented and submitted to the relevant persons.
Ensuring that the corrective action decided upon as a result of an incident or accident was implemented.
Ensuring that all employees were inducted and were aware of the risks involved in working in their areas.

Raising concerns on matters of safety and risk with the unit manager.
