I’m Sitoshna Nayak, a media and communication student with a deep passion for storytelling, strategy, and meaningful impact. My academic journey in journalism and mass communication has given me a multi-dimensional understanding of how media works—from the sharp angles of news reporting to the creative nuances of advertising and the trust-driven world of public relations.
Over the past few semesters, I’ve explored a variety of domains including development communication, digital marketing, content creation, and campaign design. Whether it's writing engaging articles, managing social media pages, or planning communication strategies for real-world issues, I bring a thoughtful and audience-first approach to every project I take on. During my internship at Doordarshan, I gained valuable newsroom experience and developed a stronger grasp on how traditional media adapts to digital formats.
I’m especially drawn to cause-based communication—campaigns that not only inform but inspire action. My recent work includes designing campaigns around cleanliness, HIV awareness for Gen Z, and rebranding initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao for underserved regions. I’ve also worked on case studies analyzing brand strategies, celebrity PR, and state-level efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Curiosity fuels me. I believe communication isn’t just about broadcasting messages—it’s about listening, connecting, and creating change. With every opportunity, I aim to grow as a communicator who’s not just industry-ready but socially conscious.
When I’m not working on projects, you’ll find me observing trends, reading stories behind great campaigns, or scripting short films that reflect human emotions in motion.
