I have worked in IT for over 30 years, most of that with Linux and Solaris for Internet based businesses and services. This has included customer support, system design, discovery and migration, scripting and programming. I am able to adapt to new situations quickly and can grasp new systems and techniques quickly as well as being able to draw on a wealth of experience. In recent years I have worked primarily with Enterprise Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Alma Linux, Rocky Linux) including supporting cPanel, and Debian and Ubuntu based systems. I am particularly interested in open source services and solutions and alternatives to big platforms and large scale services.
