I am passionate about public health and improving the quality of life of people in need. I am a Masters in public health from Oxford Brookes University, UK, where I learned about the principles and practices of Health promotion, Health Policy, Data Analysis, Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology. I have a Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Government Ayurvedic College, Guwahati, India, where I gained knowledge and skills in Indian medicine and holistic healing.
As a Healthcare Assistant at OSJCT in the UK, I provided compassionate and professional care to elderly, terminally ill and disabled clients. I worked with teams of qualified nurses and social workers to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients. I also assist with daily tasks, such medication, mobility and mental wellbeing.
I have two years of work experience as a Resident Medical Officer at Hayat Hospital, India, where I treated patients with various acute and chronic conditions, and contributed to the hospital's infection control and emergency preparedness programs.
after my return from the UK, I have done certification in medical writing which was offered jointly by coursera and Stanford University.
