Project Highlights 1. Fixture Design – Designing of fixtures such as vibration, photometry, water spray fixture, environment fixture using best practices towards cost and weight reduction of the product and providing the drawings for fabrication 2. E – Rickshaw – E – Rickshaw is a concept (NPD) of incorporating batteries in existing rickshaws rather than a new vehicle altogether. The scope of work included collection of rickshaw drivers’ experience and ideas and identifying the most optimal position and location in the available design space for installing the batteries through 3D model iterations. ACADEMIC PROJECT B. E., 8th Semester: Manual Operated Roller Bending Machine: Design and fabrication of a mini manual roller bending machine that uses chain sprocket based roller mechanism to bend pipes/rods. The mechanism is widely used in industry to perform bending operations. The machine consists of a supporting frame that supports the roller mechanism between it. The member to be bent can then be rolled across it to achieve the desired shape. The rollers are fitted with bearings so as to achieve a smooth motion. One of the rollers is integrated with a hand driven spindle wheel to drive it manually. In this case very less effort is involved in bending rods or metals. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Attending automotive related webinars. Participated in Robo-Panther; robot making competition. Presented paper at college level technical event. Responsible member of Event Organizing Committee at Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti. Participated at state level in science project competition.
