Project: Cassiopeae Responsibilities Summary and Highlights: Used PMP (Project Management Professionals) expertise and previous project experiences to successfully implement SDLC (Software Development Life cycle) processes in the project consisting of 45 members spread across three regions (US, Europe, and Asia Pacific). Identified and built Key Performance indicators to align team's performance with the goals and objectives of Project and thereby produced several successful deliveries resulting in a successful project and highly satisfied customer. Identified the key performance indicators (KPIs) to align the team with the project’s goals and objectives. Used Agile knowledge (PMI- ACP certified) and expertise to train the team members in Agile and introduce SCRUM methodology in one of the modules of the project. The implementation of SCRUM methodology and generation of monthly Sprints with reviews and retrospection led to several successful deliveries and avoided bottle necks, a large portion of scope creep and gold plating as well. This resulted in proving great value to the customer in short period of time. Implemented processes like MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and CPC (Capability process control) to assess and measure the variation and effectiveness of the existing processes in the project. Used several tools like Control charts to understand the outliers and generated effective response to combat the outliers. These processes helped in significantly reducing the defect counts (KPIs) by 30% from quarter 1 to quarter 2. These processes also reduced the defect leakage by 25%. Introduced quarterly analysis of all the issues of the project and performed CAR (Causal analysis and resolution), using Pareto chart and Fish Bone process, to identify the gaps and the deviations in results against the project objectives. This facilitated retrospection for continuous improvement and created the learning data for the organization. The performance and quality improved by 30% in the second phase where defects due to regressions and scope creep were significantly reduced thereby reducing cost in rework. Set up a strong RISK management process where any risks in the project were identified, qualitatively analyzed, and prioritized based on the impact and probability.
