About

My calling came sooner than expected when I was accepted to Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2016 for B.A. Economic Honours coupled with Mathematics as a minor. Owing to my scholarly interest and proficiency in academics, I graduated with First Distinction and was awarded Academic Colours in High School. Economics allowed me to dive into the vast depths of international economy, development economics, game theory, and statistics, deepening my passion for analytical concepts and using regression models to justify my claim. The concept of game theory and how each rational decision is evaluated by considering probabilities amused me.

Following my tertiary education spanning three years, I decided to test my newly acquired knowledge and attributes in the corporate world. I worked at an HR consulting firm, Talentel Platforms Pvt. Ltd. at the position of a Consultant for three months. As a consultant, I was responsible for pitching ideas to the clients and designing customized technological solutions. My involvement was primarily in client delivery and understanding of their requirements. My engagement with the company was not only limited to Talentel but also extended to the student vertical, CogitoHub, a career testing platform. I ensured the platform functioned smoothly as I closely worked with the technology team to improvise continuously.

Subsequently, I shifted to Kathmandu, Nepal and am currently employed at Centre for Social Inclusion and Federalism (CESIF), a think tank. My experience at CESIF has guided me to understand the influence of political actors on macro and micro-economy. Furthermore, my area of expertise is International Relations and Economics. I have produced articles and reports, analyzing the geopolitical aspect of Nepal and have touched upon the political-economic analysis of a few government policies. Besides, I have highlighted the negligence of the government towards the economy in my pieces. My writings serve as a primary source for further researches and also benefit the policymakers.

My determination drove me to look beyond the academic curriculum and venture into the fields of event management, designing, publications, community service, and arts. Active participation in any capacity (volunteering and leading societies) have not only rejuvenated me in my leisure time but have also made me discern my versatility. I had a plethora of opportunities to exhibit my commitment and am a proud awardee of V. Ramamurthy Award for utmost dedication at school. I like to describe myself as a vivid explorer who is continuously looking for "hows” and “whys”.
