My experience spans for 7 years of being a general accountant in various line of business, responsible for bookkeeping of various atleast 3 branches of each company that I have worked with.
In my current position, I developed a range of accounting skills such as the following:
• Monthly bank reconciliation and other general ledger accounts.
• Maintaining AP records such as checking & verifying of invoices prior to posting and payment scheduling.
• Billing and monitoring of AR, collections and computation of bad debts for aging receivables.
• Preparation of monthly/ quarterly VAT returns.
• Monthly Income Statement and Balance sheet and with corresponding schedules and variance analysis during month-end.
I also have knowledge on working using Cargowise system and Quickbooks online and is also knowledgeable with excel, outlook and word which I often use on my job. I'm more than willing to learn new programs and procedures if the job post requires so.
