My analytical skills really started to develop during my college years in Hydro-geology. Working as a lab technician in a real working lab allowed those initial skills to really start to emerge. After graduating with my BS degree, my career path changed, as I spent years in retail management, managing teams in the sporting goods industry of up to 26 people. Eventually, I went back to school to earn my MBA and switched from brick and mortar store management to the corporate world. Working my way up the ladder at Bluestem Brands, Inc. I continued to develop a broad skill set, including, but not limited to, managing vendor/customer relations, gathering and analyzing data to help with key business decisions, training in new employees and being a system material expert (SME) for multiple platforms. I have proven to be a quick learner and often a go-to contributor when determining process improvements.
