OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this training, the participants should be able to:
1. Perform basic troubleshooting in radiojar if needed
2. Identify the issues that needed radiojar troubleshooting
These are the steps that we perform for the following:
Error 500 when disabling or re-enabling radiojar in Kamikaze2
When disabling or re-enabling radiojar doesn’t work (generally)
Troubleshooting in Radiojar
1. Check in the dashboard for the recent activities or when was the stream updated.
2. Go to radiojar.com and login with your credentials
3. Click on Zenoradio
4. Search for the content name
5. Click on the correct content name.
1. If the station has multiple results:
1. Right click on each result and open in new tab
2. Go to Kamikaze2 and search for the content name
3. Look for the correct mount that shows up in Kamikaze 2
1. To check the mount, go to the tabs that you opened
2. Click on Widgets on the left hand side.
3. Check the url if it matches with the one in Kamikaze2:
b. Once you have seen the correct content, go to Settings ► Broadcast Link. Check the stream url inside the Relay Link box is similar to the stream url in the dashboard. Make sure that Enable Relay box is checked.
c. If the stream URL is different with the one in the dashboard, update the stream url with the current one. Test the widget
IF the stream url is the same with the one in the dashboard, restart Radiojar Server by going to Advanced Settings and clicking on Shut down
Go to Settings ► Advanced Settings ► Click on Start Server
Test the Widget. If the steps still doesn’t work, proceed to step 7.
a. If the steps worked or not, get the attention of App Support with all of the steps that you performed for further investigation.
