With more than 5 years of experience in social media management, I have handled different social media accounts both in the US and Canada.
My first exposure to the digital marketing is when I volunteer as a content writer at Ekklesia Worldwide Ministries, Inc. I helped create captions, video scripts and do quality check across social media platforms. Until now, whenever there are events and conferences, I still volunteer to work in the social media team as one of the volunteer staff.
An opportunity opened to work at Zion Creatives as a content writer working with various brands based in the US. Industries ranging from finance coach to food and service-based businesses were the brands we served. I worked as a freelance content writer as Zion Creatives since 2021 until 2023.
In 2021, I was hired as a part time administrative support, later became the social media manager and email marketing specialist at Gamini Homes Team for almost two (2) years. I worked with a team managing 1 graphic designer and 2 video editors.
And recently I worked as an account coordinator for almost a year at Alpenglo Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Colorado. My work includes creating contents for their US -based clients, scheduling across social media platforms, drafting blogs, creating newsletters, setting up blogs on WordPress, conduct quality check for outputs produced by graphic and video designers and produce monthly analytic reports to improve social media marketing strategies tailored for each account. I also conduct competitive analysis for each account I handled.
With these experiences, I learned that in the digital marketing world, I need to be proactive in providing ideas and support to every client I worked with. Some clients need help to create effective marketing strategies to reach the clients of whom their business was designed to cater.
Being proactive means innovating ideas so that my clients can maximize their time and energy to serve their own clients. Proactiveness also meant that I utilize what my client has, transform them into simpler bits where every vision and mission of my client becomes so clear they wanted it to become a reality in the shortest possible time.
