Sheila Azari is a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than two decades of transformational leadership and extensive experience in all aspects of Human Capital. Ms. Azari has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives that drive organizational growth. She is a results-oriented leader, passionate about building high-performing teams with her coaching leadership approach and fostering a culture of excellence.

Ms. Azari holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, and has completed law school courses in contracts, criminal law, employment law, and torts. Her academic foundation is further complemented by deep study of the SHRM SCP content as well as Human Resources Management courses with UCLA and College of the Canyons, underscoring Ms. Azari’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of industry best practices.

Ms. Azari has established and led HR functions for small, medium and large companies. She developed a tri-level change management methodology and certification program and stood up a Talent Management and Organizational Development Center of Excellence for Hyundai, in which she and her function of 12 HR professionals certified 200+ employees. She coached Hyundai executives on effective executive sponsorship while leading transformational change to achieve corporate strategies. Her learning programs consistently achieved over 98% satisfaction scores. She was contracted by Southern California Edison to assist in standing up their HR OD/OCM office, lead strategy sessions for new leaders, and manage organization development (OD) interventions.

With a career dedicated to improving the employee experience and an unwavering dedication to community and animal health and wellness, Ms. Azari is passionate about shaping healthy organizational cultures, but also actively contributing to the personal and professional development of employees within the organization.

In her spare time as an advanced scuba diver, she volunteers with marine biologist Nancy Caruso in efforts to restore kelp forests, abalone, bass, and clam studies in the Pacific ocean. She also cares for a number of rescued animals she has opened her home and heart to.
