This project will be a small detachable unit on a walking stick with sensors that produces an ultrasonic beam which gets reflected from the obstacles in front and notify the person through various vibrations allowing the user to detect much before coming in contact and then determine a safe path. This will also include a navigation system in which the person speaks the names of his/her destination and then the person can be directed to his/her desired location through pre-defined map guided via turn by turn voice commands. It will also include a panic button which will alert the care taker of the blind person in case of any emergency by sending his/her current location via SMS.  Water Level Detector: A water level indicator is used to show the level of water in an over head tank. This keeps the user informed about the wate r level at all times and avoids the situation of water running out when it is most needed, this water level indicator circuit also has an alarm feature. It not only indicates the amount of water present in the overhead tank but also gives an alarm when the tank is full.  LED Cube : LED cube, controlled by an Atmel Atmega16 microcontroller.
