I am Shanaka Godagama, a results-driven professional with a strong foundation in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and corporate sales. Over the past several years, I have built a career grounded in operational efficiency, data analytics, and client-focused business development across leading FMCG, retail, and distillery sectors in Sri Lanka.

My journey began with hands-on roles in inventory and store management, where I developed a deep understanding of logistics operations, raw material handling, and stock control processes. At Lanka Spices (Pvt) Ltd, I took responsibility for managing both raw materials and finished goods, gaining experience in GRN processing, daily receiving, and coordinating production support. This role taught me the value of accurate documentation, space optimization, and efficient store layouts.

I later joined Softlogic GLOMARK, where I worked as a Store Executive and advanced to the role of Senior Executive in Standards and Productivity Improvements. Here, I played a key role in driving process improvements, conducting data-driven analysis, and managing cost-optimization initiatives. I also led monthly stock counts, expiry tracking programs, and system updates using SAP and ORACAL platforms. These experiences strengthened my ability to handle large-scale operations and to identify opportunities for productivity enhancement.

Currently, I work at Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd as a Senior Executive - Corporate Sales, managing key accounts and developing B2B relationships in the Galle District. My responsibilities include promoting liquor brands, securing new business, and maintaining strong client satisfaction in a competitive market. This role has helped me further enhance my communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Alongside my professional experience, I have pursued educational qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, tourism, e-commerce, and data analytics, equipping me with a versatile skill set. I continuously strive to stay updated with industry trends and digital tools that improve operational efficiency.
