Shai Anne Castor Cortez

My name is Shai Anne C. Cortez, and I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Santa Rosa. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently strived for excellence, earning recognition as a President’s Lister and receiving several accolades, including the Academic Excellence Award and the Marketing Excellence Award. These achievements reflect my passion for learning and my drive to succeed.

In addition to my academic accomplishments, I gained practical experience through internships that equipped me with valuable skills in various administrative and financial roles. As an Admin Assistant Intern at the Santa Rosa City Government's Treasury Office, I managed tax-related inquiries and assisted in encoding account notices, honing my organizational and communication skills. My role as a Payroll Clerk Intern at Creotec Inc. further developed my attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information, as I was responsible for processing employee payroll and assisting in report preparation.

I am also committed to professional development, as evidenced by my certifications, including the Career Service Professional Eligibility and an English Test Certificate from EF SET, demonstrating my advanced proficiency in English. Additionally, I completed a 123-hour job readiness program through the Wadhwani Foundation, enhancing my employability skills and preparing me for the competitive job market.

Leadership is another cornerstone of my experience. I served as a Team Leader for a research and feasibility study project at my university, where I guided a team in conducting marketing research. This role not only sharpened my leadership abilities but also reinforced my passion for collaborative problem-solving.
