Shahid Raamis

A have been working as Lecturer (Physics) in Federal Government Postgraduate College ,Islamabad ,Pakistan, since January 2016.

I have been teaching subjects like Waves and Optics, Thermal and Statistical Physics, Electromagnetism, Modern Physics, Electronics and other courses of Physics to graduate and Postgraduate classes. I have also taught and demonstrated the lab of these courses.

As far as my educational qualification is concerned, I have accomplished MS Applied Physics from Air University ,Islamabad ,Pakistan. Cosmology is my field of specialization. The title of my MS Thesis was "Preheating in Hybrid Inflation".

I secured 1st position in "Postgraduate Research Competition 2022".

 I accomplished MSc (Physics) from Quaid-i-Azam University , Islamabad, Pakistan.

Data analysis and statistical skills: I strived for a strong foundation in data analysis and statistics. I am quite comfortable with programming languages like Latex , MATLAB, and I have also learnt to use software like Mathematica for scientific analysis.

Scientific writing and communication skills: As a researcher in cosmology, I have learnt to be able to communicate my research findings effectively in both written and oral formats. I learnt to write scientific reports that are clear, concise, and well-organized. I am also comfortable while presenting my research at conferences and meetings and to explain complex concepts in a way that is accessible to a general audience.. Owing to these skills I secured 1st position in Postgraduate Research Competition 2022,held at Air University, Islamabad.

Collaborative skills: Cosmology is a highly collaborative field so developed the skill to work effectively with others. I cherish to work well in teams, contribute to group discussions, and be open to feedback and constructive criticism.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: I have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I am able to identify gaps in existing research, develop hypotheses, design experiments or observational campaigns, and analyze data to test my hypotheses. I think creatively and develop innovative approaches to solving scientific problems.
