Self Employed (December 2010 – December 2012) I had a chance to experience my private Real Estate business and also experienced construction of houses with my own personal investment. Silkbank (January 2008 – November 2010) Joined Saudi Pak Commercial Bank now rebranded as Silkbank in 2008 as Vice President. I have supervised the expansion of 20 new branches to the existing net work of Central & North Regions. In March 2010, I launched the operations of Cavalry branch, Lahore as Chief Manager and raised liability portfolio to almost PKR 300 million in 4 months’ time. Lately I was working in the Regional office, managing Sales & liability portfolio of West region, comprising network of 12 branches maintaining liability portfolio of PKR 15 billion. I left SILKBANK in November 2010. Standard Chartered (December 2006- December 2007) Lately I was working with Standard Chartered as Sr. Manager Liability for one of the regions managing liability portfolio of PKR 20 billion with additional charge of Regional Head in Corporate Affairs- Premises & Property Management (Central / North Regions) looking after the expansion of branch net work inclusive of improvement and upgrading of existing net work of 50 branches and allied offices. Union Bank Ltd (January 2004 - November 2006) Supervised Retail Banking Group, particularly Premises & Property management portfolio inclusive of branch expansion program with a network of 65 branches all over the country. Administered the planning and preparation of annul budgetary proposals for the expansion of branch net work on country wide basis based on the detailed survey identifying potential areas initiating recommendations for the selection of sites based on authentic justifications, lease/rental negotiations with in budgetary limits, execution of lease agreements as well as building/structure related clearances in coordination with approved structural engineers and legal experts followed by supervision of renovation up to completion of branch/project ensuring compliance of State Bank’s criteria. I was responsible for handling all personnel & administrative activities for the main country office as well as for all sub-offices in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
