Work experience:
Working as a freelance web developer on
both the front and the back end for a
year.
Summary:
Having worked as a full stack web developer I can work on both the front and back end of a site
without assistance. My understanding of CSS and JavaScript make my websites dynamic while my
PHP and MySQL code handle all the backend functionalities necessary in websites.
I’m also skilled at making designs in Photoshop which can go a long way to add personality to the
websites.
I always keep my code clean and follow the best practices in writing code including adding
comments that make my code more readable.
One of my top priorities is making the entire layout of every website I make responsive for all
devices. I’m very proficient in working with media queries and other CSS properties that make my
websites run smoothly on any device. I can also work with responsive frameworks such as
Bootstrap.
I have a very thorough understanding of JavaScript including all the latest versions of ECMAScript
– which I regularly follow in writing JS code.
Other than using CSS for animations I also use JQuery to add animation effects to my websites,
whether it is creating slideshows or simply adding a fade effect.
I can make CMS blogs that have all the functionalities of a modern CMS including a dynamic
Admin Area displaying stats relating to posts, users, comments etc. and also containing Google
Charts.
Last but not least, I’m very good at self-learning and always mindful of new developments in the
areas I’m working on. My passion for constantly learning new things is something that will
definitely add to the skills that I can bring to the company I work for.
I’m currently learning python, the JavaScript library p5.js (for creating canvas animation),
AngularJS and ReactJS.
