Serkan Erdinc Beyazhancer

I am a system support specialist since 1998. In 2019, I quit my day job, left my hometown where i lived before and relocated. Now, I am in the process of creating a new, simple life in a smaller town on the west coast of Turkey.

I started my career on 1998 at a small computer shop, providing end user support on my area, providing software support and computer component supports. After that, I worked as system support specialist at a large textile factory in Bursa for a year. There, I learned about networks, firewalls, internet access, data backup process. Then I got a new position at a production plant of the largest company specialized in metal foundry, tools, production in Turkey as a system support technician/specialist. I worked in that position for 8 years; learning ISO 27001 and ITIL processes in the process; along with working on UNIX, SCADA systems, fiber networking, HP switch management, 802.1 wireless network, etc.

After 8 years, I got a similar computer technician/specialist position at Nilufer Municipality; a district of Bursa Metropolitan area. I worked on networking, firewalls, Windows servers , wireless networking, IP Phones, network printers and end-user supports for 10 years. In 2019, I desired to give a break to corporate jobs and decided to quit for a simpler, tranquil life. Now I am looking for new job and share my experience with anyone needing help about this kind of work.
