Professional Accomplishments
April 2016 – now Teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
After 10 years of immersion in the Anglo-Saxon culture I thought I was ready to fulfill a teaching
profile: I’m currently working in a public secondary school nurturing innovative practices and research
in compliance with the new education paradigms that the Mexican Ministry of Education (SEP) is
setting up. I’ve been deploying leadership skills to help out in the transformational process that our
school is going through nowadays.
March 2012 – June 2016 Customer Care Team Leader (bilingual) – American Express.
I got an special assignment as a training-coach so, I helped new agents of the US-campaigns to develop
perfomance skills, including communication-skills in English.
February 2006 – March 2012 Tech Support Representative – TeleTech.
Indeed, a memorable time. During my first couple of years I became a highly knowledgeable and
resourceful tech-support representative fulfilling the company’s expectations... latter on I worked for
many different departments, gaining years of expertise on the fine art of “consultative sales.” On my last
stages I was assigned as a training-leader, helping trainees to improve their performance.
July 2005 – November 2010 Marketing Agent (bilingual) - CISE Business Center.
It was a highly rewarding part-time job: I really learned lots of meaningful lessons about life and
business. At CISE I redesigned the company’s web-site and its “online advertising,” which fortunately
resulted in a great stream of new customers and, allowed the opening of a new branch.
August 2000 - July 2005 English Teacher - Centro Escolar Cedros (Elementary School.)
I was in charge of the subject: “Computer Skills” (in English.) I developed a course using MS-Office
and Windows to promote student’s creativity and cross-curricular connections.
