Casualty, Workers Compensation. Led a team of 40 associates in onsite/offshore model.
Responsible for enhancements to existing legacy application which will enable a new
distribution channel, ability to do eSubmission, support the underwriting process, form
requirements and policy package.
Responsible for gathering requirements for litigation management system that will enable a
more effective billing process for attorneys. The role involved understanding the gaps in the
existing system and how the attorney data are going to be processed by the downstream
systems. Led a team of 20 associates and successfully implemented the solution.
For large Insurer in the US, implemented a web-based user interface for recovery of Claims
across various business units. The project involved replacing the existing legacy application
into web-based application catering to functionalities like risk management, subrogation,
collections, deductibles and litigation/investigation. The functionalities were rolled out in a
phased manner across 3 releases, and I had been in the US to see through the
implementation phase.
