As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Statistics and Data Science, I bring a solid foundation in data analytics, a passion for solving complex problems, and experience in applying predictive modeling techniques to real-world challenges.

During my internship at Qualifi Solutions Ltd, I had the opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading team, where I utilized my analytical skills to enhance decision-making processes related to loan eligibility in the finance sector. This experience not only sharpened my technical expertise but also demonstrated my ability to deliver results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

As a Data Analyst at the University of Cape Town, I expanded my proficiency by analyzing large-scale datasets across diverse domains, including healthcare, biology, sports, and finance. My work in predictive modeling included designing innovative approaches to forecast competitive surfer performance—an endeavor that required creativity, precision, and data-driven insights. Moreover, my hands-on experience managing and analyzing Big Data at a large-scale facility equipped me with the technical acumen and adaptability needed to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.

In addition to my technical capabilities, I possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaboration. I am proficient in multiple programming languages and data management tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL and R-Studio. My ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively within multidisciplinary teams makes me confident in my ability to contribute to any company’s mission of improving outcomes through data-driven insights.
