I am a designer, artist, avid music geek, and b-movie fan. I grew up in a big city, moved to a small city, went to college, moved around a few more times and, during those years, developed my creative impulse. I am an enthusiastic admirer of all things type, and a fanatic of bold design. Along the road I’ve worked both as an in-house designer for large corporations, at print shops and as a freelancer. Working in-house, I learned to follow brand guidelines and to be creative, while still maintaining consistency. The print shop environment taught me to juggle multiple clients and to work fast and eﬃciently. The time freelancing has strengthened my communication skills with clients and developed my independent problem solving abilities. My combined learnings from these three worlds has given me the experience and conﬁdence to explore the idea that design is a process, and that through research and exploration, the right solution will present itself.
