Six months ago, while working as an I.T. Recruiter, I realized I wanted more. I looked in the mirror and realized I did not want to be working in the same recruiter chair five years from now. Having been exposed to technical teams and concepts, I realized that is where my interest laid. So, I decided to leave my job and start learning about technical concepts and development languages full time.
While I have loved throwing myself into software development, I realized that my strongest skills are still interpersonal. I spent my time as a recruiter communicating with everyone from Technical Program Directors to Entry-Level Developers. Since then, I have spent my time expanding my technical knowledge and acumen. That is why I believe that I would be a great Product Manager. I now understand both sides of the coin and I am eager to help a technical team in any way that I can.
