I was asked to design and update content for the clubs official website after the success of a video
channel that I set up which contained highlights, previews and interviews edited using Final Cut Pro. My
duties for the official website included writing stories, creating graphics using Adobe Photoshop and
writing a fortnightly column for the match day programme.

Working with most Sky Sports production teams to ensure the smooth running of live sport and shows in
studios and and at live sporting events in the UK and abroad.
Duties included looking after guests and presenters, managing the autocue. Ensuring that the entire
production team are catered for, assisting AP’s in filming on location as well as gaining a strong
knowledge of the overall television production process.
Travelled to Rome for the 2009 Champions League to assist with the production of Sky Sports outside
broadcast of the match and preview show.

- Generating original ideas for the show.

- Presenting live features with high profile guests.
- Producing content for the Sky Sports YouTube channel which has over 350,000 subscribers. I filmed,
produced and edited the videos.

Research skills – I am required to research guests for Soccer AM to write interesting and informative
interviews. I also regularly contact major Premier League/EFL clubs and major brands in order to obtain
news and statistics.
Good IT Knowledge – very competent with computers and have a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS with
a sound knowledge of Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I can also use Wordpress competently with a basic
knowledge of Wordpress design. I also have a strong knowledge of social media through the running of
Soccer AM’s pages (@socceram & facebook.com/SoccerAm).

Teamwork – I have directed shoots which involved working with large football teams + high profile
people. I also collaborate well with my production team to ensure that the show runs smoothly.
Creative – I am expected to come up with several new ideas each week and develop these into scripts. I
have also developed these skills through the various features that I have edited where I am responsible
for the music and style of the piece. I have a good knowledge of Final Cut Pro and basic knowledge of
Avid Media Composer.
Networking Skills - I work with many large brands in order to generate content for Soccer AM including
showcasing products and organising guests for shoots and Soccer AM. I have good contacts with a range
of entertainment brands.
Organisation - I am in charge with ensuring that all costumes and props for our show are bought in and
available when required during the live show.
