Scott Butterfield

I'm the author of numerous published short stories and a novel. I've taught and tutored all aspects of fiction and non-fiction writing, from the principles of composition to the psychological analysis of character. I'm a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. My undergraduate degree is in History, so I have been formally trained in the fine science of research, how to efficiently sift through mountains of data for new connections and discoveries. In short, I can write, and write well, no matter the subject. It's what I've been trained to do. I don't copy others, and I cannot be copied myself. I've also written blog posts (specializing in long form) and emails newsletters for a client which specialized in wine. I pride myself on the ability to work efficiently, switch up genres, meet deadlines, and turn out truly original, memorable content tailored precisely to the audience of your choice.
