Chalk out an effective and executable capacity plan with discussion with location planners to keep the customer priority alive. On time sourcing of material to avoid production delays, on time Purchase order issuance, to keep good track of Inventory. In coming material quality check and issuance of quality parameters to vendors for future production. New vendor development and negotiations with the present ones for cost reductions. Understand the commercial compliances, tax structure, purchasing procedure, with proper documentation, ensure the vendor payment on time and submit weekly MIS. Sustaining competitive product pricing by negotiating costs, discovering new sources. Effective coordination with commercial department to ensure the timely payment for local / Inter-state suppliers and with logistics department to ensure the delivery of material at right time. To define ROL and ROQ level of inventory based on consumption of last quarter. Physical verification of inventory with SAP inventory . Ensure release of Purchase orders in SAP module and updating of data in SAP. Develop local vendors for regular and customized requirement comes from site or design and technical team as an up gradation of product. To maintain the Master sheet of all the projects to have an daily update over project status to cut the lead time of projects execution due to material. Coordinate with Project team to fulfill all the needs on time as per priorities given by Production Chart. Procurement of Capital /Store and Spares/SFG/Sub-contracting/Raw (RoH) items from suppliers and make P.O., also to prepare yearly/monthly Service PO with correct taxation. Cost Down Activities. Practical experience of Complete cycle work in SAP from generating Purchase requisitions to create purchase order and GRN , Also to create materials master data in SAP. Preparation & execution of Pending schedule status of material on daily basis ,as per production plan. Proficient in ms office to create MIS reports of materials and also preparing comparison sheets for Vendors vs Materials. Interact and follow up of Supplier for timely delivery of material as per the purchase order release To monitor & minimize product replacements and defective sets. Reduction in Defective Targets as per Management Decision all over India Ensure to plan the Payment of the vendors in co-ordination with accounts as per the terms and condition given in the Purchase Order by guiding purchase team members under me. Knows and have practical experience of Complete cycle work in SAP from in projects for different WBS. Creating advance payment requests for accounts department perusal based on P.O. terms and conditions. To guide store to have stock as per ROL and ROQ for standard BoM (for the items that are assigned to me from BoM) To guide and have a keen eye on Material Physical stock and SAP Inventory stock. To float RFQ’s for new requirements and take offers accordingly with necessary documents , and also to develop new vendors quarterly and rate old vendors on basis of their service provided and quality with rate. To have a regular check on PO weekly basis and To ask and receive confirmation of the material regarding quality, quantity and safety which are directly delivered at site and if damage is found than ask for quick replacement with all documents like warranty , TC, Invoice at HO. To motivate the team regularly to achieve the target of Purchase dept. quickly and efficiently with quality work and to help out juniors by solving their issues related to work.
