Springfield School is an old established Educational Institution that caters well according to the Cambridge system of education. I joined the school in 2014 as a class teacher for grade 1. I am responsible for a span of 25 children in my class. The subjects I teach are Mathematics, English Language and Literature, Nature Study, Poetry and in charge of all the different extracurricular activities related to grade 1. I am presently on job.

I joined the school in 2012 and since then have become an integral part of the teacher’s team. My job involves teaching History and Geography to students of classes V – VIII. Additionally I’m involved with this I am involved with all the extra – curricular activities that are happening in the school. In a year’s time I have been able to achieve good comments and credits for putting up a History and Geography exhibition, being the backbone of the sports event by being an event organizer and event commentator, planning out earth day activities, debates, and quizzes and developing a habit of reading in the students.

My responsibility was mainly to identify the International Events that can help our business sectors flourish abroad, promote those opportunities to the local business sectors and facilitate the interested companies in their visits to these events abroad. With this, I was also the event manager for a new trade fair related to the chemical industry. The event wasn’t launched due to the uncertain conditions of our country. I worked with this company for a year from February 2008 to March 2009.

Speed Pvt. Ltd is a retailing business owned by the Akbar Group of Companies and includes brands like Nike, LVMH watches – Timex, Tag Huer, Fendi to its portfolio. I was the sole in charge for Nike Apparel and reported directly to the CEO. My Responsibilities included many of the brand management and activation functions like target market analysis, consumer behavior analysis, product development and management, previous sales analysis and future forecast for all the major cities of Pakistan and also merchandizing. In order to select the best product for our markets I had to travel to the Nike trade shows organized in Singapore to see the products and place orders. All issues related to order placement, confirmations and shipment checking was my responsibility. After placing the orders, the retail team had to be briefed about the new arrivals – why a product is chosen, its USP and how to sell it.. Lastly, claim management and damage repair for sold products was also to be managed.
Non – Professional Teaching Experience:
1) I have been involved in training the sales staff about product specifications and how to sell the products while I was at Nike.
2) I have taught the science subjects for primary classes for 3 months at a private school near my residence. I left the job to continue my studies.
3) I have been providing tuitions to O’ Level students for English, History, Geography, Islamiat, Biology, Chemistry, Business Studies and Basic Mathematics for 2 years. I left the tuitions due to my regular job.
