Successfully raised $15k AUD to cover post-production costs for Cats of Malta by running a fruitful
crowdfunding campaign which gained support from 200 backers worldwide.
Built relationships with two Maltese companies and Malta Tourism Authority, which led to secured
paid sponsorship for Cats of Malta screenings.
Raised $5k in PBS Underwriting for the Cats of Malta PBS broadcast.
Sold Cats of Malta to Israeli TV Station YesDBS, secured distribution deals for the flm within the
US, Europe and Japan.
Negotiated fnancial deals with festivals and independent companies to screen Cats of Malta
publicly throughout the US, (including Hawaii) and Korea.
Researched and wrote the script for, directed, co-produced and cast Daughter (2016), a short flm
and awareness project tackling gendered violence and victim blaming inspired by true events,
starring Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why). Secured funding for the production through the
Port Phillip Cultural Development Fund and organised a public screening with 180 people in
attendance including suitable speakers. Later I toured across Victoria, hosting events around the
flm and booked qualifed speakers.

Oversaw MIMFF’s Script to Screen Initiative, which supported local indigenous writers. I worked
with the small festival team to choose the winning script HALF, produce the flm and organise the
premiere event which opened with a traditional Indigenous Ceremony. The poster featured my
photograph taken on set.
