Sarah Cruickshank

Pharmacovigilance Specialist (BScN) with a demonstrated history in the pharmaceutical industry, oncology clinic's and contact centres. I am passionate about patient safety especially in regard to pharmacovigilance and case management.

My passion began within a fast-paced and demanding cancer clinic; managing adverse reactions/events and performing active telephone follow-up. This further developed my time management skills, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize. From this position, I transitioned to a remote safety contact centre for a pharmaceutical company where my communication and customer service skills were enhanced.

I take initiative in my positions and participate in a variety of projects. Past projects I have collaborated in include standard of practice (SOP) development, workflow management, creation and delivery of training materials within a multi-cultural team and team building exercises. These projects allowed me to gain experience and advance my knowledge of safety databases and Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

Although I am very focused and independent, I thoroughly enjoy working within a team, bringing a positive attitude to the workplace and strive for team cohesiveness.
