About

I am a student in Aalto University School of Business with a passion for constantly developing and challenging myself. While my formal work experience is still limited, I make up for that with my enthusiasm and the variety of projects and organisations I am, and have been a part of.

I derive a lot of joy and satisfaction from taking on, and conquering new challenges. An example of this is that a few years back I decided that I want to organise a dancing and singing show to raise money for a mental health charity. With no experience of event organising I dove into it. I pitched my idea to an organisation with useful expertise and contacts, and about half a year later we had a fully booked event and money that we were able to donate. As this might show, in me you will find an active and enthusiastic employee who is not afraid to take initiative.

Since early this year I have been the vice-chairperson of Aalto Sustainable Business Club. In that position I have gotten well acquainted with team work and event organising in the online age. Alongside this, I am responsible for the club's graphic design, as well as do a large part of its Instagram marketing and copywriting. On my own I am also learning more about social media marketing, and practicing implementing what I learn on my tea related Instagram profile.

What comes to my personality, I am positive, kind and reliable. I have many times heard people tell me that I appear bright and positive. I have found that attitude to be very useful as it helps me look for solutions when I encounter problems, instead of lamenting. In fact, in his speech during my high school graduation ceremony, my program coordinator praised me for that exact thing. I do my best to be kind, polite and considerate, as I want to myself be the type of person I would enjoy working with. And I seem to be successful at that based on comments complimenting me for those attributes by, for example, my former employer, teachers and friends. I have even been told that I am difficult to not get along with. Lastly, I have developed good systems for managing my own time and commitments, and I find it very difficult to let people down, resulting in me being reliable. Basically, I want to be reliable and I have the skills to do that, so you can count on me.
