Accounting Assistant

It is always a delight for me to finish my Accounting task but I find it more delightful when I will be able to deliver it and inject improvements to make it more beneficial.

I am Sara, with Bachelors Degree in Accounting and have handled the following task in three different companies for 10 years.

1.      Accounts Payable Management-process all payables including electric bills, water bills, telephone bills, hauling services, hotel accommodation bills, outside services bills and all other payables that was incurred.

2.      Accounts Receivable Management-uploading all payments of customer to our system, clearing payments, process credit and debit memos etc.

3.      Revolving Fund Disbursement- double checking of all receipts for disbursement, making entries of all cash disbursement to our cash journal, printing vouchers, and making cash disbursement summary to be able to have revolving fund replenishment once our fund reaches its replenishment point.

4.      Inventory Management-have handled safe keeping and monitoring of inventories, facilitates physical count, made stock inspection reports, made inventory adjustments in cases of disputes between system records and actual count and also monitored if inventories reached their minimum level.

5.      Budget Performance Reports- consolidating all the expenses incurred by each department and compares it to their budget. I also conduct Budget Hearing among budget holders  to know the reason behind the results of Budget Performance Reports. This reports are being reported to the Top Management once a month.

6.      Asset Monitoring-recording all newly purchase assets including its description, category, cost, date of purchase, its useful life, serial numbers if any and the department that will be the custodian of the asset.

Our accounting tool or the system that I have been using is a German Software which is called SAP(Systems, Applications& Products). I also enrolled myself to study Quickbooks and I have finished the Basic Courses and I am on my way to finishing the Advance Courses. I have tried to add vendors, add customer, enter bills, pay bills and create invoice during my Quickbooks class.
