I studied Engineering in Computer Science, was very good in Mathematics ( got 96.5% in +2 exam) but switched my stream to Graphic Design and Animation/ Film Making to give a boost to my creative nature. Worked for Asia's largest Animation Production House DQ Entertainment as a Game Artist (3D) and then worked as a preproduction Lead and then Director for some animated short Films, TV series and Advertisements ( got few awards/ nominations for my Films and digital paintings as well ). Now working with JWT as a Creative Director (Art) and my job is to make creative designs for brands i.e. I take care the art part of a whole ad campaigns starting from the ideation level. Recently Have got an Executive MBA degree in Advertising and Media as well. Since 2011, I did find graphic novel, comic strips interesting and started working for it of my own. Now, I've made my own Graphic novel which has been purchased by an UK publisher and also I'm making several other Graphic novels for publishers in Calcutta ( few of them were published in Calcutta Book Fair). I've been making my own daily Comic Strip for a leading Bengali Newspaper of Times of India group for almost 4 years.
