Two projects that I was working on here were:
‘Matir Katha’ - This is one among the first few Agri Extension convergence project in India where DOA is reaching to farmers via live and interactive mobile applications. Developed on an open-source platform, this is a complex project combining latest telecom technology and tools like IVR, USSD, TTS, GIS and Cloud Data center with Mobile App and Tablet PC.
Prepaid Cabs – This was just before Ola and Uber had come up with their cab services. I had to submit my take on how would pre-paid taxi apps perform in Kolkata market, and evaluate the present situation and suggest what can be done to improve the situation in times to come.
