Sandra Gaviria

I have been a language teacher and a program administrator my entire professional life. My main academic interests have always been curriculum design, assessment and testing and motivation but, lately, I have been exploring innovating pedagogy and education in the 21 century. My biggest professional achievements have been the curricular design of a business English program for working professionals, the design of an online placement test, and the design of a new set of integrated skills written tests. I'm currently working with two groups of teachers on the design of an online course on language assessment and writing a booklet for true beginners. I started working on translation in 2013 and teaching Spanish online in 2016.
