Job Responsibilities Stock accuracy • Provide regular data entry support to the Inventory Management department including managing store presentations, maintaining store inventory levels, and pulling reporting to identify inventory inefficiencies • Manage/ monitor inventory and stock holdings, ensuring stock issues are minimized. • Oversee the process of stock transfers/ movements; inter warehouse, warehouse to store and inter store, ensure the movements are recorded and updated to reduce discrepancies. • Ensure stock take results are adjusted in ERP after internal approval hierarchy. • Investigate Negative stock and regularization by liaising with relevant stakeholders. Stock valuation, shrinkage, and damage control • Swift, accurate reconciliation and resolution of inventory variances. • Plan, coordinate and manage activities of half year/end of year /inventory /cycle count calendar across all GCC stores and warehouses. • Implement and ensure internal control procedures are in place to minimize shrinkage. • Coordinate with loss prevention team to improve standards and procedures relating to stock loss and shrinkage. Controlling and reporting • Review of stock on hand details prepared by Team, ensure accuracy and highlight concerns to relevant stakeholders. • Review inventory ageing/obsolete stock report and flagging the risks to relevant stakeholders • Preparation and circulation of shrinkage reports • Prepare and submit half year /end of year stock take results MIS to stakeholders • Inventory integrity reports. • Ensure Department’s activities are carried out within timelines with all validation checklists • Ensure month end closing activities are completed within internal deadlines • Facilitate queries by internal and external auditors on stock accounts, reports, and ageing • Reconciliation of financial accounts to inventory reports Period April’2011 to Oct’2016 July 2007 to Feb. 2011 Company The Best Sellers Exhibitions & Events Wide Angle L.L.C.
