"My name is Samuel, and I'm from Nairobi. I'm passionate about artificial intelligence and how high-quality data powers the next generation of AI models.

I have a strong interest in data annotation because it sits at the foundation of machine learning — labeling images, text, videos, or sensor data accurately directly impacts how well AI systems perform in real-world applications like computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI.

What draws me to this internship is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating training datasets while developing skills in attention to detail, consistency, and understanding AI guidelines. I’m particularly good at spotting subtle patterns, handling edge cases, and maintaining high accuracy even on repetitive tasks.

I’m a quick learner, reliable, and comfortable working with different annotation tools and schemas. Living in Nairobi also excites me because the city has grown into a hub for AI data work in Africa, with companies like Sama doing impactful projects globally.
