With experience working alone in projects and part of a team of developers, moving from intern to
senior developer now comfortable in both front and backend development.
I’m interested in using my existing skills and learning from working in a team, you’ll find I have an
easy going personality and very eager to learn and a quick learner with years of experience working
with code.
I’m working on releasing two sites of my own within the next 1-2 month, please check github for
source. The first is a coloring app and site that uses tensor flow machine learning to color images, it
has the potential of becoming the first social app which will color images for free with option to pay
to keep your images private. The site is 80% complete. Also working on wiki leaks version for
Kenya, the backend model and starting data is complete. It will link a person’s name to all cases of
corruption that will allow more decisive analysis of corruption in the country. I’m also working on
learning machine learning techniques that can better user flow experience.

I’ve worked here as the only developer in charge of maintaining the day to day running of the site.
The site primarily sells movie tickets for a number of theatres in Kenya and I’m proud to say I have
built the ticketing system from scratch. The site was pre-existing when I joined but I have worked
on improving the look and feel of it.
My first task when joining was to build a mobile version which is achieved using django-mobile to
serve a different template for mobile devices. I’ve also worked on making the movies section more
robust using jquery ajax to provide a single page navigation for searching currently showing movies

A side project I’ve worked on that I’m proud of, kazichimp was an attempt to make a job seekers
sire that would match employees by skill set. I’ve built the entire site from scratch and would
recommend you register to experience the flow or at least go to the login page.
You’ll find that it has an easy flow using ajax to update the db and move from section to section of
the job application stages.
